Besides Singh and Akram, Mathew Hayden and Justin Langer have also confirmed their participation.
The Bushfire Cricket Bash is one of the three matches to be played as a part of The Big Appeal on February 8, following the Women's T20 International between Australia and India at the Junction Oval and preceding the Big Bash League Final, media reports say.
Sachin Tendulkar and Courtney Walsh will coach the Ponting XI and Warne XI respectively in the Bushfire Cricket Bash, the venue for which hasn’t been determined as yet.
Match profits from the Bushfire Cricket Bash will go to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
