Virat Kohli Wishes 'Happy Retirement' To IPL Star Cricketer: Tweet Goes Viral!

Indian captain and skipper Virat Kohli, who is currently on West Indies tour with team took to social media and wished South African Cricketer Dale Steyn 'Happy Retirement'. He also called him a 'true champion of the game'.

Kohli wished Steyn, hours after he announced his retirement from test cricket. He took to his official twitter handle and captioned it saying, "A true champion of the game. Happy retirement to the pace machine @DaleSteyn62"

Watching Kohli and Steyn on the field was a treat for all fans as both showed off they skills during matches. Dale, has been part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from 2008 to 2010 and 2019, played an important role for the team with Virat as the captain.

It was yesterday that Dale announced his retirement from test cricket with immediate effect and said that he would focus more on limited-over cricket.

Even master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar came out and wished Dale for all his success, "Wishing you all the very best for the future @DaleSteyn62. You always challenged batsmen to bring their A-game to the ground. It’s been a joy to watch you bowl and play against you."

Congratulatory messages poured in from all quarters, including the Board Of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
