Virat Kohli about Vijay Shankar's selection !!! Kohli's take on controversial '3D' statement!!!

Virat Kohli recently spoke about the world cup squad and particularly about the selection of Vijay Shankar. The selector talking about this position said that Vijay Shankar won the race against Ambati Rayudu since he is more a three-dimensional player.

Virat Kohli also agreed on this statement as he said that everyone agreed on having Vijay Shankar as an option in the middle order since he offers options with the bowl as well apart from being a good fielder. He, however, emphasized on the fact that they see Vijay Shankar as a proper batsman and his other skills give the kind of balance that other teams have had over the years.

Talking about batting positions, Kohli said that it is something they will have to decide later, however the selectors have said that Vijay Shankar will start at number 4 for the world cup.
