Retirement after 2019 Cricket World cup confirmed !!!

Ian Gould the 61-year-old Umpire from England has announced that he will be retiring from the job after the 2019 Cricket World cup that is set to take place in England.

He had played 18 ODI's representing England, including keeping wickets in the 1983 Cricket world cup.

He started his umpiring stint in 2006 and since then he has been a part of 250 international matches across all formats.

"Ian has made an outstanding contribution to the game over a long period, particularly in the last decade as an international umpire for the ICC." said Geoff Allardice, ICC's General Manager of Cricket.
