COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Oct 10

Tamil Nadu on Saturday, October 10, reported 5,242 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 6,51,370.

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health Department of Tamil Nadu: 

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  44,150. 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –   3,93,452 / 2,57,887 / 31.  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 191 (66 Govt + 125 Private) 

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –  82,32,725. 

- Total number of samples tested today –  91,191. 
   
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 79,96,148.  

- Total number of persons tested today –  89,450.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 5,97,033.    

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,222.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 67 (31 Private & 36 Govt) / total 10,187.
