Team India Enters T20 World Cup Final 'Without' Playing a Ball!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIn the T20 World Cup Semi-Finals against England, Team India cracked the fortune and made it to the finals without being a ball bowled at Sydney, Australia.
The match was called off due to rain and India was declared the winner of the match since the Women in Blue had a better track record than England in the group stages.
Cricket Australia's request for a reserve day was declined by International Cricket Council on Wednesday (March 4).
It is the maiden T20 World Cup Final for Team India. The second sem-final is scheduled between South Africa and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground. If this match also gets washed out by rain, South Africa will qualify for the finals on the virtue of most wins in their group.
