WATCH | Suryakumar Yadav Receives Grand Traditional Welcome After IPL 2020 Win; Video Goes Viral 

Apart from winning the IPL 2020 title, franchise Mumbai Indians' (MI) made headlines every single day because of skipper Suryakumar Yadav. He always remained the talk of the town during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. So far in the 13th season, he piled up 480 runs for MI. 

Many even thought that he would be included in the national squad soon after the IPL ends but sadly the election committee did not include his name on the list. 

Even when MI captain Rohit Sharma was not around against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) then it was Suryakumar, who stepped up in his absence. The right-handed batsman was unbeaten on 79 off 43 and powered his side to a five-wicket victory.

Days after his IPL success, Suryakumar returned to his home in Mumbai, where he received a grand welcome. It was Suryakumar's mother, who welcomed him with an 'Aarti thali' and 'Tilak'. Even his neighbours had gathered to cheer him and get photographed with him.

Not forgetting to mention, the MI batsman will have a break for a few weeks and will soon return for Mumbai state team in the 2020/21 domestic season which will begin in January 2021.
