Suryakumar Yadav’s Old Tweets Go Viral After 'Death Stare With Virat Kohli' Stun Fans

After the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Abu Dhabi, captain Virat Kohli is once again in the news and this time for all the wrong reasons.

The ‘sledging incident' with MI batsman Suryakumar Yadav and him has hit headlines all over the world. 

During the match, the RCB skipper was at his animated best. He was seen extremely happy after every time Mumbai Indians lost a wicket but the one wicket he wanted was of Suryakumar, which his  bowlers could not get it.

As RCB could not dismiss Suryakumar, he went on to play a stunning knock of 79* off just 43 balls to help his side clinch the game. He, who walked out to bat in the sixth over, remained till the end to take the defending champions over the line. 

Amid the match, Kohli, who tried to get rid of the in-form batsman even tried to unsettle Suryakumar by sledging but failed. The epic moment happened in the 13th over, when Yadav hit Dale Steyn to extra cover where Kohli fielded the ball.

After collecting the ball, Kohli kept walking towards the crease while Suryakumar stood and stared at Kohli. Both players kept looking at each other before Suryakumar decided to walk away. 

After this epic moment went viral, fans criticized the India skipper. Some even lauded Suryakumar for “giving it back” to Kohli. While others raised the possibility of bad blood between Kohli and Suryakumar. 

Amid all speculations, few old tweets of the Mumbai batsman went viral, wherein the 30-year old was in all praises of Kohli. In one of his tweets, he even called Kohli ‘God’.
