Suryakumar Yadav Likes Controversial Tweet on Virat Kohli; Hints About Rift: Check Post!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsEven after winning the IPL 2020 title, Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Suryakumar Yadav is still in the news making headlines. The recent one is about the rumours suggesting that not all is well between skipper Rohit Sharma and Team India captain Virat Kohli.
The confirmation of the rift between the two went viral after Suryakumar Yadav’s latest action on social media.
The alleged rift between Rohit Sharma and Virat made headlines during last year’s World Cup in England. Meanwhile, it is only Rohit and Virat's teammates who know the truth about the rumours.
Coming back to Suryakumar's action, he liked a tweet, taking a dig at Virat Kohli as well as Team India selectors for the way Rohit Sharma’s selection matter for the Australia tour panned out. The opener was not included in any of the three squads for the Australia tour due to hamstring injury but he left the selectors embarrassed by playing in the IPL.
After days of discussion, the board included him in the Test squad but was rested for the limited-overs series as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, Suryakumar, who liked the tweet, has left fans utterly surprised. He also removed the like from the tweet later.
It's not just fans but Suryakumar Yadav himself, who is miffed with the selectors for not picking him as a part of India’s squads for the Australia tour. Despite performing brilliantly in the just-concluded 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), he was not included in the team. He scored an impressive 480 runs to help Mumbai clinch the title.
