Fact Check: Did Suresh Raina Unfollow Chennai Super Kings on Twitter? Details Here
Home > News Shots > Sports newsAhead of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 popular Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Suresh Raina returned home after pulling out of the tournament due to personal reasons.
However, Raina is not expected to make a comeback for CSK and has been spending quality time with his family. Also, Raina has rubbished reports of a rift between him and the CSK management behind his decision to pull out from IPL 2020.
Amid the news of him returning back to the team, a fake news of Raina and CSK's official Twitter handle unfollowing each other went viral on the micro-blogging site.
To clarify is all, the rumours are incorrect as Raina, who has been a part of the CSK franchise for ten seasons, is still following the team on both Twitter and Instagram. Even CSK's official Twitter and Instagram handles also follow Raina back.
Meanwhile earlier in the week, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan clarified on the chances of Raina's comeback this season. "See, we cannot look at Raina because he made himself unavailable and we respect his decision and his space. We are not thinking about it," CSK CEO told ANI.
Raina's absence is clearly being felt in the CSK batting line-up after the Yellow team lost two out of their first three games.
