JUST IN: Subramanian Swamy's Tweet on M.S. Dhoni is Going Viral
Home > News Shots > Sports newsThe Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Cabinet Minister Subramanian Swamy posted a tweet on his twitter space about former Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni which has started doing rounds on the microblogging site.
The BJP National Secretary severely condemned unnamed personalities who failed to give the deserved treatment for M.S. Dhoni. He also termed Jealousy as something that already exists within Indians and thrashed unnamed person as “Ungrateful Wretches”.
“The treatment of M.S.Dhoni is reflective of the ingrained jealousy of Indians. Ungrateful wretches!,” (sic) tweeted Swamy.
The tweet received thousands of likes and plenty of retweets with comments asking for the clarification on the tweet. It is unclear who Swamy is referring to as “Ungrateful Wretches” and his generalisation could be seen in the phrase “Ingrained Jealousy of Indians”.
Swamy is known for his outright expression of thoughts on subjects irrespective of any political parties and issues that concern his ideologies. While we have seen his comments on several political stands, his sudden tweet on M.S Dhoni amidst the new change in BCCI has raised the eyebrows of cricket and political experts.
