Shakib Al Hasan's Wife Reacts After ICC Bans Him For Two Years
Home > News Shots > Sports newsBangladesh all-rounder and captain, Shakib Al Hasan will be missed for the 3-match T20I and 2-match Test series against India. As he is banned by ICC for two years; also he will have to serve a ban for one year.
Hours after his ban, the cricketer has been getting support from fans and well wishers. Few fans were even seen gathering outside the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB)’s office in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Hasan's wife Sakib Ummey Al Hasan, came out in total support of her husband and reacted to the ban saying that ‘he will be back stronger in no time’.
Yesterday, cricket fans were shocked to know that their favourite star Hassan was banned for failing to report fixing approaches made by a bookie in last two years. He will only be allowed to make his comeback on October 29 next year.
As soon as he returns, the biggest challenge he will face will be to be back in contention for selection for World Cup 2021.
Hassan is also one of the most travelled cricketers in the team and had other positions at IPL, Caribbean Premier League, Pakistan Super League and Big Bash League.
Now that he will not be seen in the team, another Bangaladesh star Mominul Haque will lead the team in Tests.
