With just four matches into the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), fans and cricketing experts have already started pointing fingers at the quality of umpiring.

During the fourth IPL 2020 fixture which was between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), fans got upset after another umpiring controversy that involved Tom Curran, MS Dhoni and Deepak Chahar took place.

When CSK, who elected to bowl first with Royals taking full charge into batting display, Curran was left shocked after the umpire gave him out caught by a Deepak Chahar delivery. He wanted a review it, but his team's allotted reviews were over.

Following which the umpires gave him out, only to call him back after tv replays. As fans were surprised to see poor umpiring on the field, Dhoni's wife Sakshi couldn't believe the incident and shared her feelings through a post, which she later deleted.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote, "First time I have seen the third umpire is being referred after the player has been given out! Umpiring needs to be improved in such a prestigious tournament! Billions watching it! @iplt20". She later deleted the story.

As per TV replays- it showed that the ball had not even edged the bat and gone off the thigh pad. The ball also bounced in front of Dhoni before he caught it. After leaving for the pavilion, Curran was called back to resume batting. He then finished unbeaten at 10 off nine deliveries.

Rajasthan Royals showed some classy batting skills from Steve Smith and Sanju Samson, who finished their innings at 216/7.
