Ricky Ponting Makes Big Statement on Rishab Pant's Future!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsRicky Ponting has expressed belief that wicketkeeper-batsman Rishab Pant will find a spot in the Indian playing XI during the ongoing series against New Zealand.
Pant was ruled out of the ODI series against Australia earlier this month after suffering a concussion. KL Rahul who replaced Pant in donning the gloves has been quite impressive.
“Rishabh Pant is a young man with a huge amount of talent. I’m looking forward to working with him again during the IPL and I’m sure he’ll be back in the Indian team sooner rather than later,” Ponting answered during a Q&A session with his twitter followers.
Ricky Ponting is the head coach of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals in which Pant is a part of.
