Rahul Tewatia Explains What Went Wrong Between Him and Khaleel Ahmed During RRvsSRH Clash  

The match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) ended on a heated argument between SRH bowler Khaleel Ahmed and RR batsman Rahul Tewatia. 

The now much talked about incident took place in the final over of the match when Royals needed 8 runs to win off 6 balls. During that time, Tewatia and youngster Riyan Parag were on fire while the pressure was on blower Khaleel to defend 8 runs. 

During the match, it was evident that SRH would easily win the game but Tewatia and Parag had completely changed the balance of the match which left SRH players still thinking how it happened.

In the final over, as Tewatia tried to complete a run, Khaleel was seen talking with the left-handed batsman in the middle of the field. As the argument intensified, the umpires and SRH captain David Warner had to intervene into the matter.

After Riyan Parag hit a six and won the game for Royals, Tewatia and Khaleel had a heated exchange of words which got captured live.

Post the match, when Tewatia was asked what went down between the two players; he said that it was just in the heat of the moment. “No big deal, we just got taken away in the heat of the moment. Things like these happen in such situations,” Tewatia said.

Meanwhile, SRH captain David Warner praised Tewatia and Parag for their splendid performance after the defeat. SRH will next lock horns with Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday while RR will take on Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020 on Wednesday.
