Home > News Shots > Sports newsDelhi police registered a case against former Indian cricketer Manoj Prabhakar, his wife, his son and two others on Thursday, reports Hindustan Times.
The complaint was filed by a woman named Sandhya Sharma Pandit who lives in London. She claims that she owns a flat in the building where Prabhakar resides.
She alleged that he trespassed into her house and made his friend stay there. She claimed that her neighbours informed her that someone was staying in her flat.
When she reportedly came to Delhi, she said that the occupant denied to let her in. “The woman claimed that when she tried to raised the issue, she was threatened with dire consequences. She claimed that her flat was encroached upon by Prabhakar and others on the basis of forged documents,” said the officer.
Speaking about the incident, Prabhakar said, “We do not know anything about the woman. I don’t know who lives on the second floor."
