Before this, Pakistan has won the ODIs 2-0 and entered the T20Is hoping to perform the same. But sadly after trying their best to chase 166, the Pakistanis found themselves losing their first three wickets for just 22 runs.
Things got out of hand and bizarre after Sarfaraz Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed showed a steady partnership but that didn't go too far.
In the video that is going viral, during the 12th over, Sri Lankan bowler Isuru Udana gave a full-toss to Iftikhar gave who gave it to a fielder at short cover. But within seconds, Dasun Shanaka stopped the ball and quickly threw it back to the bowler.
After which both the batsmen were left stranded in the middle of the wicket and both ran towards the keepers' end in a desperate attempt to save their wicket.
This moment was the most hilarious moment captured on camera. Minutes later confusion came up as to which batsman was actually out!
As both Sarfaraz and Iftikhar stood in the middle of the field not willing to leave. Only after the TV Umpire finalize as to who is out, then Iftikhar walked away.
This incident became viral on social media where fans could not stop laughing and expressing themselves. Many wrote- Never change, Pakistan!
