Out or Not? Watch Video That Confused Sachin Tendulkar!

Umpires and their decisions have been making news especially since the ICC World Cup 2019. For instance, Ben Stokes's six was widely discussed about with the umpire himself telling that it was given wrongly.

Whenever umpires are criticized, ICC's rules also comes into question. Like the Super Over tie and winner determined over maximum number of boundaries.

Sachin Tendulkar has shared a video which starts a fresh debate over whether the batman is out or not. He has captioned the video saying "A friend shared this video with me. Found it very unusual! What would your decision be if you were the umpire? 🤔"

In the video, the ball hits the bails and it is dislodged, but the bail doesn't fall from the stump.

Soon, the video received lot of comments and people started debating over out and not out. However, ICC rules clearly states that the bail has to hit the ground for a batman to be declated out, hence the batman was given not out.
