Nicholas Pooran and Shane Watson’s Old Tweets Goes Viral After KXIP’s Defeat

After four consecutive low performances in IPL 2020, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star cricketer Shane Watson was in full form during the clash against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). His two-day-old tweet has currently gone viral on Twitter after CSK hammered Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 10 wickets in IPL 2020 yesterday. 

CSK, who made a winning start over Mumbai Indians (MI) in their season-opener, were back with a surprise against KXIP after Watson (83) and Faf du Plessis (87) slammed unbeaten half-centuries to help CSK chase down 179 without losing a single wicket. 

Watson, who took to social media a day before the match wrote; "The perfect game for @ChennaiIPL is coming," and he rightly proved it. Currently, it has been liked over 50,000 times and is being shared widely by CSK fans.

Meanwhile even left-hander Nicholas Pooran, who has had a reasonable campaign in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently grabbing headlines. One of his old tweets is doing the rounds on social media. The tweet was dropped way back on October 4, 2013.

Pooran had taken to his Twitter handle saying; “Is there a better birthday gift than beating chennai super kings?” Pooran, who came to bat at number four after Mandeep Singh, scored 33 runs off 17 balls in CSKvsKXIP match.
