3 New Zealand Bowlers Ruled Out Of Team Against India ODI Series

The New Zealand team is currently struggling with their bowling stocks after three leading pacers were ruled out from the squad for the one-day series against India. 

The bowlers, who have been ruled out are Trent Boult Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry. They all were injured in Australia and have not recovered for the three ODIs against India. Speaking about their injury, Trent Boult has a broken hand, Lockie Ferguson injured his calf strain and Matt Henry has a broken thumb. 

After being ruled out, Kyle Jamieson has been introduced into the squad while Scott Kuggeleijn and Hamish Bennett are recalled after last playing ODIs in Ireland in 2017.

The on-going series will be the first ODIs for New Zealand after they beat India in the World Cup semi-finals last year. 

Below is the New Zealand squad: Kane Williamson (capt), Hamish Bennett, Tom Blundell, Colin de Grandhomme, Martin Guptill, Kyle Jamieson, Scott Kuggeleijn, Tom Latham, Jimmy Neesham, Henry Nicholls, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor.
