India slides down to 5 in the rankings !!!

ICC granted T20 status to all ICC members and hence there are 80 teams in the Ranking table at the moment.

Looking at the Ranking, Pakistan top the table with 286 points and are well ahead of South Africa with 262 points who are second in the table. England and Australia are tied at 3rd and 4th position with 261 points and India after swapping positions with SouthAfrica, find themselves at the 5th position with 260 points.

However, India is on top of the table in the Test Rankings and hold the second position after England in the ODI Rankings. With the world cup coming up, they will not focus on the T20 aspect at the moment but will have to focus more on it once the ODI Worldcup is done to prepare for the T20 world cup in 2020.
