During the one-off Test of the ongoing Zimbabwe’s tour of Bangladesh, senior Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim tried an awkward method to prevent the ball from hitting the stumps.

In the video, the batsman can be seen avoiding the ball from hitting the wickets by standing in between the ball and stumps which was only millimeters away from the batsman.

During the match, Rahim had a quick presence of mind when the ball was heading back towards the stumps. He immediately turned backwards and used his thigh to stop the ball from hitting the stumps.

Rahim came to bat at No. 5 and made a 222-run partnership alongside captain Mominul Haque (132). Bangladesh in total scored a mammoth 560/6.

Surprisingly, it was his third Test double century. Rahim, remained unbeaten till the end and scored 203* (318) with the help of 28 fours.
