During the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday, fans on Twitter came across certain fixing allegations in match 27 of IPL 2020.

A deleted tweet from Mumbai Indians has currently sparked controversy on the internet. Talking about the match, MI defeated Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets in a thrilling encounter on Sunday at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

After winning the toss, Delhi Capitals elected to bat first. However, just eight minutes into the clash, Mumbai Indians' official Twitter handle posted a tweet quoting Delhi Capitals' final first innings score.

By end of the match, fans were surprised to know that the scores were almost identical in the end as well.

In their deleted Tweet, MI had predicted DC would finish the match with 163/5 from their allotted 20 overs, whereas, Delhi's final first innings score was 162/5.

Meanwhile, the tweet was quickly taken down while few fans were quick enough to take a screenshot of it and post it on social media.

Highlitening about the match, Ajinkya Rahane played for DC in place of injured Rishabh Pant while Alex Carey made his way into the team in place of Shimron Hetmeyer. Shikhar Dhawan, who smashed a marvellous half-century took his team to a respectable total.

When Mumbai Indians chased the target; Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav scored decent half-centuries for the 4-time IPL champions. Suryakumar was all set to bag his half-century but Kagiso Rabada dismissed him in the very next delivery.

By the end of the game, MI needed 7 from 6 balls, while Krunal Pandya (12*) and Kieron Pollard (11*) guided Mumbai Indians home with two balls remaining. Check out the controversial tweet below:
