Video: MS Dhoni Gifts His CSK Jersey to KKR Players and Ravindra Jadeja; Fans Instantly React! 

The 13th edition of the IPL has been a tough one for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The Yellow Army has failed to live up to fans expectations this season and are currently out of the play-offs contention.

Despite not making it to the playoff this year, love and respect for Dhoni has not reduced but rather increased a bit more.  

Throughout this season, Dhoni has been gifting his iconic number 7 jersey to different players. First it was for Jos Buttler and then came Hardik and his brother Krunal Pandya.

After the recent match between KKR and CSK, Dhoni was seen doing the similar gesture to Nitish Rana, Kuldeep Yadav and his teammate Ravindra Jadeja after CSK's thrilling last ball win in Dubai.

Post the match, CSK took to Twitter and shared a video in which Dhoni can be seen signing jerseys and interacting with KKR players after his team's win at the Dubai International Stadium. "Priceless memories, prized possessions. Signature #Thala," the video was captioned on Twitter. 

Further in the video, Dhoni was also seen having a word with Varun Chakravarthy, who took the former India captain's wicket during CSK's run chase.

Meanwhile, Rana, who scored a blistering 87 off 61 balls had the most epic reaction on receiving Dhoni's jersey. He accepted the jersey with folded hands in a very humble manner. 

“I think it was one game in which the climax went in our favour. Lot of credit to the guys. This season he (Jadeja) has been fantastic. He has been the only one in our team who has scored in the death overs. He needed somebody else and that would have been good for us. We want to give games to people who haven’t played. Ruturaj has shown the talent that he is. He came in and tested Covid positive. We didn’t have much time to have a look at him. He is one of the talented youngsters going around,” Dhoni said at the presentation.
