Wow! MS Dhoni close to completing this massive feat

Following a stunning victory against Pakistan on Sunday, Skipper Rohit Sharma and his deputy Shikhar Dhawan were put to rest. As fate would have it, former skipper MS Dhoni captains the Indian team for the 200th time against Afghanistan which promises to be a thriller.

Dhoni joins Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid in reaching a milestone of 10,000 ODI runs. Dhoni is only 95 runs short in completing the massive feat. In the match against Pakistan, Dhoni became the second most capped player for India.

This is a treat for Dhoni fans following his decision to retire from captaining ODIs in January 2017. Dhoni reportedly said during the toss, "I was not really sure of where I am standing. I have captained in 199 ODIs, so this gives me an opportunity to make it 200."

Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bat in the final match of the Super Four stage at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Afghanistan currently stands at 100 runs for the fall of 4 wickets in 19 overs.
