MS Dhoni after winning the toss elected to field first.

There was a bit of swing early on that Deepak Chahar capitalized very well to get Virat Kohli out early. AB Devillers came in and played timed a few well before he skyed one straight to Faf Du Plessis.

Parthiv Patel kept going holding the innings together for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and kept the scoreboard ticking. Jadeja who picked up AB Devillers got Akshdeep Nath as well finishing with tidy figures of 2/29 in four overs.

At the 15th over mark, they were at 118/3 with Parthiv Patel at the crease along with Stoinis who just showed first signs of aggression hitting a big six against Tahir. At this stage, they were looking for a big finish going into the final 5 overs to put up a good score on the flat Bengaluru pitch.

However, they lost both Parthiv and Stoinis for 53 and 14 respectively as they didn't push on in the end. Moeen Ali got a few important boundaries away and took RCB to 161 in 20 overs.

RCB will feel this is a below-par total on this pitch and CSK will fancy their chances chasing this total.
