Former England Captain Gets Furious At Fan Who Compared Him With Shakib Al Hasan, Reacts!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsEver since ICC has banned star all-rounder of Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan, the blame game has not stopped. Fans have come out and supported the star at this difficult time but seems like former England captain Michael Vaughan has no mercy for Hasan.
Vaughan has currently become the public enemy in everyone's eye on social media. Hours after, ICC banned Hasan, Michael Vaughan lashed out at him stating that he has no sympathy for Shakib and also said that the ICC should have banned the cricketer for a longer time.
This comment did not go down well with few Bangladeshi fan who took this to heart and attacked him on social media. But, the outspoken cricketer gave it back to few Bangladeshi fans many a times.
There was one such fan who grabbed the limelight, after he decided to take a sly dig at the cricketer. He did not just post a comment but also compared his and Shakib’s stats. The fan posted an image of Shakib and Michael Vaughan, with a caption that read as; "Come to the same level first 🤗🤗”
Minutes later, angry Vaughan gave a fitting reply to the fan, asserting that maybe his stats are not good but he would never indulge in corruption. “I was average .. I accept that .. but at least I wasn’t corrupt .. #Cheers #OnOn,” wrote Michael Vaughan.
Earlier this week, Bangladesh star Shakib has received a two-year ban with one year suspended from ICC. Henceforth, he will not be seen in the upcoming series in India.
