Post the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI), the ‘staring contest’ between Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli has become the biggest talking point currently.

From the thrilling clash between the two teams to incidents that have gone viral on social media; fans are still talking about it. 

The much talked about incident took place on the final ball of the 13th over when Kohli had tried to get under the skin of the Mumbai Indians batsman. After saving a shot from Suryakumar at the extra cover, Kohli began walking towards him as he kept his eyes on him.

On the other hand, Suryakumar, who was not ready to move away too stared at the RCB skipper. Seconds later, Kohli came and stood right beside Suryakumar while wiping the ball. After which Suryakumar silently walked away showing his maturity in the game. 

Ever since this moment has gone viral on social media, Kohli has been facing criticism for trying to sledge the batsman while fans have lauded Suryakumar for the way he handled the situation.

Amid all the action and drama, Mumbai Indians official twitter handle spiced up the situation a little more by taking a sly dig at Virat Kohli. They took to Twitter and posted a picture of the incident and cheekily wrote, “He came. He s̶a̶w̶ stared. He conquered."

Talking about the match, Mumbai Indians defeated RCB by five wickets and have positioned themselves at the top of the points table. Suryakumar, who was the star of the show, scored a stunning unbeaten half-century to help his side register the win.
