Home > News Shots > Sports newsTeam India opening batsman Mayank Agarwal has currently become the talk of the town after scoring his third Test century in his 12th Test innings. He has played exceptionally and phenomenally well since his test debut against Australia in Melbourne last year.
A video of him is currently making headlines, after Mayank Agarwal was left shocked when umpire Marais Erasmus ruled him out off Bangladesh spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
The video shows that, the right-handed batsman could not believe his eyes when umpire gave him out in the first session of Day 2 of the first Test at Holkar Cricket Stadium on Friday.
The viral video, which is doing all the talking now show that the ball had hit Mayank high on the pads in front of the leg stump. He did not want to go with the umpire's decision so Agarwal consulted his teammate Ajinkya Rahane and opted for DRS.
However, the results showed that the ball was clearly missing the leg stump. Mayank was at his 82 run when the incident took place.
Soon after which, he went on to hit his third Test century and became the third Indian batsman after Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli to score a double century against Bangladesh.
