Home > News Shots > Sports newsFormer cricketer MS Dhoni and his retirement news has always been making headlines. Every now and then the burning question on Dhoni's retirement keeps social media buzzing.
Wednesday evening (May 27), cricket fans were surprised to see #DhoniRetires suddenly trending on Twitter. This trend took most of Dhoni's fans by shock after which Mahi's wife Sakshi took to Twitter and lashed out at those spreading these rumours.
Sakshi rubbished rumours of the World Cup-winning captain retiring. However, she deleted the tweet soon after it went viral on the social media platform. She was completely furious over the latest round of rumours. "Its only rumours ! I understand Lockdown has made people mentally unstable ! #DhoniRetires .. Get a life ! (sic)," Sakshi Singh wrote on Twitter.
Such rumours keep coming up every now and then because Dhoni has been silent about his international future. Also, when he was asked about his future in playing for the team, the former captain said, "January tak mat poocho."
This was not the first time where Sakshi has stepped in and refuted reports of Dhoni's retirement.
