WATCH VIDEO: Ravi Shastri’s ‘Special’ Commentary for Virat Kohli
Home > News Shots > Sports newsBefore playing the second ODI, Virat Kohli posted a video of lately trended bottle cap challenge. He captioned the video “Better late than never. #BottleCapChallenge” (sic). In the video, Virat is seen holding a bat at the background of a water bottle. While he flips the bat getting it ready, Ravi Shastri’s commentary plays saying, “He’s got a wide range of shots. What is he going to do”.
In the next moment, Virat topples the cap of the water bottle and Shastri’s commentary is synched saying “Oh, What a shot that is, a flick of the wrist and way she goes. What a shot”. Then, Kolhi takes the water bottle and drinks it before signing off with a broad smile. Ravi Shastri’s synched audio may be ripped off but in the video, it really looks ‘Special’ for the skipper’s playtime challenge. Needless to say, Virat Kohli expressed his comfort of working with Ravi Shastri as the head coach earlier.
Virat Kohli is certainly the man of ongoing India vs West Indies series, especially after his recent century which has indeed accompanied quite a few records for the Indian Captain. India’s second-highest run-getter in ODIs beating former Indian Skipper Saurav Ganguly, and highest run-getter against West Indies beating Pakistan’s Javid Miandad are the significant records of Virat Kohli in the 2nd ODI at Trinidad.
