After West Indies thrashing Pakistan in their first game in the ICC World Cup 2019, Shoaib Akhtar came out with a motivational message for the Pakistan team, who will go against England on Monday.

Days before the clash, Akhtar took to Twitter but little did he know that Kevin Pietersen had his eye on the image used for the tweet. According to NDTV sports report, the picture used by Shoaib Akhtar, is seen celebrating after taking a wicket of Kevin Pietersen. He captioned the image saying, "Blood, sweat, aggression, racing heartbeat, badmaashi. This is whats required when you represent your country. This star on your chest is your pride guys. Tagra khelo. Go get them. Larr jao. #Pakistan #PakvsEng #cwc2019."

However, Kevin Pietersen came up with a hilarious reply to Akhtar's post. The response didn't end there as Akhtar, despite acknowledging Pietersen's talent, reminded him of the chicken dance he did after dismissing the Englishman. The conversation went back and forth all in good spirits; finally ending with both players confessing their love for one another.

The photo is from the 2005 Faisalabad Test, when Pietersen got out to Akhtar just after reaching his century. The Pakistan vs England series had been Pietersen’s second Test series, which Pakistan won 2-0, reports Indian Express.

In the West Indies vs Pakistan match, the Men in Maroon eased to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in their World Cup opener at Trent Bridge on Friday. Pakistan play England at Trent Bridge on Monday.
