New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the 4th T20I against India in Wellington. The reason of him being ruled is because of a left-shoulder injury.

Williamson sustained the shoulder injury while diving in the field in the Hamilton T20I against India. He being available for the final game of the series at Bay Oval is doubtful.

According to India Today reports, New Zealand pacer Tim Southee will lead the team in Williamson's absence. Currently, the Black Caps have lost three matches in the five-match T20I series.

The news broke fans heart after The Black Caps took to social media saying, "Captain Kane Williamson has been ruled out of tonight’s 4th T20I with a left-shoulder injury (AC joint) sustained while diving in the field in game 3. He will hopefully be available for the final game of the series at Bay Oval. Tim Southee will captain the side in T20I 4. #NZvIND."
