Known for his calm and composed nature, Williamson has earned a huge fan following from India in recent years with some people even comparing him with former India captain MS Dhoni, usually dubbed as 'Mr. Cool'.
A recent video posted by the New Zealand cricket team on Instagram shows a funny misfielding by Williamson against Pakistan at Saxton Oval. As soon as Williamson chases and gets hold of the fired ball, he throws it at a different direction from the bowler. Meanwhile, batsmen on the pitch try to score an extra run, but couldn't.
Captioned, "Sorry @kane-s-w but we've been saving this little classic for our return to Saxton Oval in Nelson," the video has garnered thousands of likes and comments. "That smile in his face," commented one user. "That's the most village thing I've seen today," wrote another.
On the game front, England won today's T20I against New Zealand by 76 runs and both the teams will be playing the 5th and final match of the series tomorrow from 6.30 am before moving on to Test cricket.
