Left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat, created history in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. He suprised all with a splendid performance in the semi-final for Saurashtra against Gujarat in Rajkot.

Bowler Jaydev Unadkat, broke a 21-year-old record for the most number of wickets in a single Ranji Trophy season. He proudly completed the semi-final with a score of 65 wickets. The pacer, finished with a 10-wicket haul in the semi-final against Gujarat. 

As per an India Today report, Jaydev Unadkat took seven wickets in the 2nd innings and also got Saurashtra reach their 2nd successive final in the Ranji Trophy.

With a few feathers to his cap, Jaydev Unadkat is also the 2nd bowler with most wickets in a Ranji Trophy which is currently headed by Ashutosh Aman with 68 in 2018/19. He will soon be seen playing for Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
