In the eliminator match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Delhi Capitals, the final over that Keemo Paul bowled in the first innings saw some drama.

In the 5th ball of the innings as Paul bowled to Hooda, as the batsman tried to run, Pant who collected the wide ball threw the ball straight back. As  Paul was trying to get the ball, he collided with Hooda and he fell. He was then not able to make it to the non-striker's end as he got run out.

Although the Umpire gave it out, Shreyas Iyer the captain of the Delhi Capitals felt that it was an unfortunate mode of dismissal and hence went to the umpire and asked him to revert the decision.

Rishabh Pant, however, stepped in and asked for the decision to remain since Paul didn't obstruct the batsman on purpose and it was fair.

Fans have divided opinions on this as some feel Iyer was doing the right thing.
