This is what Gautam Gambhir had to say about WAGs accompanying players abroad
Home > Sports news It wasn't long ago when Indian skipper Virat Kohli put forth a request to the BCCI that WAGs (wives and girlfriends) be allowed to accompany players while on tours abroad.
Offering his opinion, Gautam Gambhir said, "It depends on individuals and players to decide if they want wives for the entire tour or no. If they are performing well, then nothing should stop them,” said the left-handed batsman."
The request by the Indian skipper was made a few weeks back but as it is a BCCI policy decision, the manager will have to submit a formal request first, media reports say.
