Harsha Bhogle Shares 'Interesting' Solution to CSK's Batting Problem; Tweet Goes Viral! 

In the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 which is taking place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) began well after that they had a disappointing campaign as they won only two of their first seven matches so far. 

The main reason behind CSK’s poor performance in IPL season 13 is their batting order, especially the middle-order. 

This season the yellow army looks clueless and completely out of touch. Also, another reason behind middle-order failure is the absence of Suresh Raina. He was pulled out from IPL 2020 citing personal issues.

As fans hope that CSK will play well in the other matches, veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle shared his opinion on CSK's batting woes. He believes that Super Kings should aim for Ajinkya Rahane. 

“How’s this for a mid-season transfer thought: #CSK desperately need a quality top-order batsman. Ajinkya Rahane desperately needs a game. Ajinkya Rahane is not getting a game. #MidnightThoughts,” Bhogle took his social media account and wrote.

He shared his interesting opinion as CSK are eligible to pick players through mid-season transfer.

Talking about Rahane; he has good experience of the shortest format, but sadly he hasn’t gotten many chances in the ongoing IPL 2020. Currently, Rahane is traded to Delhi Capitals (DC) by Rajasthan Royals (RR). 

Looking at his matches so far, Rahane has only played one game against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on October 11 but couldn’t make much of an impact as he got out on 15 runs. 

Highlighting the concept of qualifying in the playoffs, winning eight games usually guarantees the teams a place in the final four stages of the league. So keeping that in mind, CSK now need six wins from their remaining seven matches.

CSK’s next match is against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) which is on Tuesday (October 13).
