Home > News Shots > Sports newsPlaying for IPL is a big thing and playing for nearly all the eight franchises is another bigger achievement. In the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), there is only one player Aaron Finch (Australian white-ball captain), who has featured for as many as eight franchises so far.
Today, Finch is making his debut for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening game of the 13th season against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Highlighting about his career in IPL, Finch made his debut in the 2010 season, where he represented Rajasthan Royals (RR) from there he was moved to Delhi Daredevils (DD) whom he represented for two seasons.
After his two seasons in Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors picked him up, where fans saw him captaining the team. Soon after their disbandment, Finch entered the IPL auctions once again and was racked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) before he moved to the Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2015.
Even, Gujarat Lions picked Finch for the 2016 season where he did try to prove himself on the field. Soon after the exit of the franchise, Finch once again was in the auction pool ahead of the 2018 edition and then got picked by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the mega auctions.
The Australian white-ball captain then represented KXIP in 2018 before he opted out of the 2019 edition to prepare himself for the 50-over World Cup. Currently, he is playing for the Virat Kohl-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team.
