IPL 2020 Trading: KKR Release Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa Including Few Big Names
Home > News Shots > Sports newsThe much awaited day has come as all the IPL teams announced the list of players retained and released ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction.
The two-time champions decided to release Robin Uthappa and Piyush Chawla and retained 13 players from their original squad. If you check the list, KKR have released some big names like Chris Lynn, Carlos Brathwaite, Robin Uthappa and Piyush Chawla.
According to Times Now report, KKR have Rs 35.65 crore left in their purse for the IPL 2020 auction and would look to buy some solid players. KKR, who was not much active during the trade window only roped in Siddhesh Lad from Mumbai Indias.
Check the list of KKR retained players:Dinesh Karthik, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Kuldeep Yadav, Shubman Gill, Lockie Ferguson, Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Sandeep Warrier, Harry Gurney, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shivam Mavi, Siddhesh Lad.
KKR released players: Chris Lynn, Carlos Brathwaite, Robin Uthappa, Piyush Chawla, Nikhil Naik, KC Cariappa, Joe Denly, Srikant Munde, Yarra Prithviraj, Anrich Nortje.
Meanwhile, the auction for IPL 2020 is scheduled to be held on December 20 in the ‘city of joy’ Kolkata.
