Home > News Shots > Sports newsAs cricket fans patiently wait for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 edition, Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) followers received a great news as ace spinner Yuzvendra Chahal got engaged. He got engaged to choreographer Dhanashree Verma.
Yes, you heard it right, the 29-year-old cricket star announced his engagement news on social media platforms today. Dhanashree Verma, apart from being a choreographer, is also a doctor and a YouTuber according to her Instagram profile.
Taking to his social media account, Chahal shared the news and captioned the post saying, "We said “Yes” along with our families #rokaceremony." Ever since the news went viral, social media users have poured in wishes for the couple.
The official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) along with former cricketers such as Irfan Pathan, Aakash Chopra and others also shared congratulatory posts.
Chahal was last seen in action during the India-New Zealand three ODIs and will soon be gearing up to represent the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2020, which is to be held in the UAE from September 19.
Till date, the Bengaluru-based franchise have played the IPL final thrice, in 2009, 2011 and 2016, but never managed to win the title.
