For the 3rd ODI against Australia at the Manuka Oval, Team India made four changes; from including T Natarajan, Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur, and Kuldeep Yadav to replacing Mayank Agarwal, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Natarajan's journey in cricket took a huge step forward as he was handed the India ODI cap in the third game against Australia in Canberra.

Among most of the players, Tamil Nadu's Natarajan became India's 232nd ODI player. The 29-year-old from Salem made an impressive campaign with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) during IPL 2020. He played an important role in picking up 16 wickets in as many matches. He was picked by Hyderabad in 2018 but played his first game only in 2020.

During the IPL 2020, Natarajan bowled the most number of Yorkers and took himself to a maiden India call-up for the Australia series.

Meanwhile, after Indian bowlers conceded 350 plus runs in the first two ODIs, India added Natarajan to the playing XI for the 3rd ODI.

Talking about Natarajan's journey - He played tennis ball cricket in Chinnapampatti - a village near Salem in Tamil Nadu. Son of a daily wage labourer and a mother who runs a chicken shop in the village, Natarajan had to struggle really hard to make a career.

Not just that, Natarajan has also opened an academy in his village to provide necessary facilities to youngsters, as he knows the struggle and hardship that he went through. As soon as BCCI announced his proud moment, Twitter reacted.
