Indian cricketer to be questioned over spot fixing by crime branch
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIndian cricketer Abhimanyu Mithun has been summoned for questioning by the central crime branch regarding betting and spot fixing scandal in Karnataka Premier League, reports Puthiya Thalaimurai.
He is the first international player to be questioned. He is the captain of the team Shivamogga Lions in KPL. Joint Commissioner has confirmed the news.
Mithun has represented Indian team in ODIs and test. He will be answering the questions prepared by the team regarding his game during last season KPL.
Police has arrested 8 people related to the scandal. All attempts to contact Mithun failed. Currently he is in Surat with Karnataka team playing Mushtaq Ali tournament.
