Hardik Pandya clinched his maiden five-wicket haul in tests on Day 2 of the Trent Bridge test which ended with England at 161 trailing India (329) by 168 runs at tea in the first innings. Jos Butler at 39 was the highest run-getter for the hosts.
Pandya’s figures of 5 for 28 tore apart the English middle-order as the hosts from 108 for 4 at one stage, slumped to 128 for 9, reports NDTV.
Besides Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma picked up two wickets each while Mohammed Shami managed a wicket.
