Wow! India makes history; First ever test series victory in Australia

Team India registered its maiden Test victory in Australia on Monday after the fourth and final match in Sydney was abandoned due to rain. India retained the Border-Gavaskar trophy with its historic 2-1 victory.

Australia was trailing behind India by 316 runs when the match got abandoned. This is the first ever victory for India in Australia after they began touring Australia in 1947-48. Virat Kohli is also the first Indian and Asian captain to lead their team to a Test victory in Australia.

Virat Kohli said, "I want to say I've never been more proud of being part of a team, than this one right here. The boys make the captain look good. By far, this is my biggest achievement. It's at the top of the pile."
