IND vs AUS: After 2005, India Suffers Heaviest Defeat in ODI History!

After Rohit Sharma's exit for 10 runs, Shikar Dhawan (74) and KL Rahul (47) tried their best to strengthen the target for the Aussies.
This is not the first time that India suffers a 10-wicket loss. The last time India lost an ODI by 10 wickets was in 2005 against South Africa in Kolkata.
India's 10-wicket losses in ODIs
vs New Zealand (Melbourne, 1981), vs West Indies (Bridgetown, 1997) vs South Africa (Sharjah, 2000), vs South Africa (Kolkata, 2005), vs Australia (Mumbai, 2020).
This is also the second highest total (255) to be chased down by any team without losing a wicket. The David Warner (128)-Aaron Finch (110) partnership is now the highest stand against India for any wicket. Earlier, the record was held by Steve Smith and George Bailey who managed to put together 242 runs against India in 2016.
Both the sides now head to Rajkot (January 17) and Bangalore (January 19) for the 2nd and 3rd ODIs respectively.
