As international cricket has resumed in Pakistan with three-match ODI series between the host team and Zimbabwe at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, fans were shocked to see an awful mix-up during the first match where both batsmen got stranded on the same end.

Pakistan cricket team has done it again! Yes, and the players are making headlines for all jokes.

The incident took place in the 26th over of the Pakistan innings when two batsmen Imam Ul Haq and Haris Sohail got involved in an awful mix-up and ended up getting stranded on the same end.

This incident gave Twitter to strike the hammer on a red-hot iron. Talking about the incident, Imam was set and batting well after scoring a half-century along with Sohail, who put on 30 runs for the third wicket.

In that delivery, Imam played the ball towards point unaware of the fact that Sohail had taken off in search of a quick single. Before Imam could realise, Haris was already next to him at the striker’s end.

Meanwhile, the throw from the fielder at backward point missed the stumps, as wicketkeeper Brendan Taylor was unable to collect it. After which, the fielder at square leg realised the chance and threw it to bowler Sikander Raza, who took the bails off. Unfortunately, Imam was run out.

Soon after this run-out went viral, it triggered a meme-fest on Twitter, where people once again blamed Pakistan for their carelessness. Check out the video and the reactions below:
