Iceland Cricket Shares MS Dhoni's Photo to Troll Ricky Ponting Over 'Mankading' Views; Post Goes Viral! 

As 'mankading' has become a hot topic of discussion in IPL 2020, Iceland Cricket, who is known to come up with funny tweets took a hilarious dig at Delhi Capitals' (DC) head coach Ricky Ponting, as he is against the bowler running out the non-striker. 

Ahead of the ongoing IPL, Ponting had revealed that he will have a hard talk with off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin regarding the same. Ashwin had grabbed headlines ever since he chose to 'mankad' Jos Buttler during IPL 2019, which created a huge stir among cricket experts.

After Ashwin gave a 'mankad' warning to Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) opener Aaron Finch during DC vs RCB clash, coach Ponting's reaction has gone viral and became a meme on Twitter.

Ashwin, who didn't mankad Finch, made his point clear by giving a stern warning to the non-striker for taking undue advantage. He took to his official Twitter account and posted, "Let’s make it clear !! First and final warning for 2020. I am making it official and don’t blame me later on.  @RickyPonting #runout #nonstriker @AaronFinch5 and I are good buddies btw" along with a laughing emoticon.   

Days after the match, Iceland Cricket's official Twitter handle trolled the former Australian captain on his views on 'mankad' dismissal by using MS Dhoni's quick stumping as a perfect example.

"This is so unsporting of MS Dhoni. He does it all the time. The batsman only came out of his crease by a short margin and he didn’t mean to. Dhoni should be giving the batsman a warning and then let him carry on batting." — Ricky Ponting. The twitter post read!  

Ponting has not responded to the post yet, but fans are awaiting his reply. Currently, Ponting is on cloud nine with his franchise's performance, who top the points table after a 59-run win over RCB. Check out the post below:
