Team India took on New Zealand on Tuesday in ICC World Cup 2019 in Manchester in Semi-Finals first match. Indian bowlers restricted Kiwis to 211/5 in around 47 overs when rain stopped play. The match was moved on the reserved day, Wednesday.

The match was continued from where it was left and Kiwis scored 28 more runs and lost 3 wickets totalling 239 for 8 by the end of 50 overs.

What was seen as a walk in the park turned out to be Jurassic Park for Indian team as the wickets started falling like a stack of cards. The top order collapsed with only Pant scoring 32 and with Kohli, Rohit and Rahul scoring 1 run each.

Middle order, which was much criticised through out the tournament stood and played the rest of the game with pandya scoring 32 and Jadeja scoring 77 in bits and pieces. Dhoni, who was constantly criticised, scored half century standing for nearly 30 overs.

The bowlers except Jadeja didn't fare well and the Men in Blue was rounded off by Kiwis for 221 runs. New Zealand entered the Finals by winning India by 18 runs.

The second Semi-Finals is all set to start on Thursday between Australia and the hosts England.
