PSL 2020: Haris Rauf Apologises To Shahid Afridi After Dismissing Him For Duck; Moment Goes Viral!

During the match between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars in the second Eliminator of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, an incredible moment was witnessed on the field. It was Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf, who impressed his fans and his teammates in the recent match.

He turned out to be the star of the match for Qalandars as he delivered a match-winning spell to propel his side into the final of the tournament after a 25-run win over Multan Sultans.

During the match, Rauf picked up three important wickets of Zeeshan Ashraf, Rilee Rossouw, and Shahid Afridi. Among the three wickets, it was former Pakistan all-rounder Afridi's wicket which is making headlines.

Afridi's wicket was an absolute ripper in the 14th over as it was an inswinging yorker from the right-arm pacer that shattered his stumps on the very first ball he faced in the game.Fans and experts were shocked to see Afridi being removed on a golden duck by Rauf.

Soon after taking his wicket, Rauf was seen apologising to the former Pakistan captain with folded hands. This nice gesture from the 27-year-old, is currently winning hearts on social media. 

However, after his dismissal, Multan lost the plot and kept losing wickets at regular intervals to succumb under pressure.

By the end of the game, Multan Sultans fell short by 25 runs in the chase and  lost both Qualifiers while Lahore Qalandars entered the final after winning both the Eliminator and the 2nd Qualifier. On Tuesday, Qalandars will take on Karachi Kings in the final of PSL 2020.
